- A consultation at a convenient location followed by a firm written quotation.
- Desk research using our extensive, personally visited, venue database (including some of our secret finds) as well as a comprehensive search of new venues.
- The arrangement of appointments for you to make unaccompanied visits to your chosen venue.
- Provisional venue and ceremony booking where possible.
- The preparation of a brief email proposal with full costings.

- A consultation at a convenient location followed by a firm written quotation.
- Desk research using our extensive, personally visited venue database (including some of our secret finds) as well as a comprehensive search of new venues.
- Visits to potential suitable venues by Sponsalis on your behalf.
- Provisional venue and ceremony booking where possible.
- The preparation of a detailed written proposal with associated budgets, photos and information relating to the premise’s internal layout.
- Accompanying you on a one day site inspection to “walk through” how the wedding day would run and the various options available to you.
- The research of suitable accommodation for your guests and your own bridal suite if applicable.
- Contract negotiation with the venue and confirmation of booking.

Managing your invitations can be hard work…
Responding to an invitation is never as important to the one receiving it as it is to the one sending it. Invitations might sit on a shelf, or be stuck to the side of the fridge. Responding to an invitation is something we all do “tomorrow”. Sometimes we accept an invitation but our situation changes. People get ill, or family emergencies occur. All of this can be stressful for whoever sent out the invitation and needs to plan for a fixed number of guests.
This service is for those who find themselves too short of time to manage the invitation process for their wedding or just simply want to avoid it! This includes:
- Meeting at a convenient location to choose from a selection of samples provided by our personally vetted suppliers.
- Suggested wording and advice on etiquette.
- The preparation and management of the printing of invitation ancillaries, such as accommodation recommendations, maps and directions.
- Managing the complete design and print process.
- Managing a calligraphy service if needed. The provision of calligrapher will attract an additional cost.
- Compiling a database from addresses supplied by you in electronic format.
- Preparing, collating and mailing one set of invitations, excluding the cost of postage.
- Logging guest responses, advising you of non-responders for chasing, ensuring special requirements are noted and fulfilled such as diets and children’s requirements, and incorporating last minute changes such as illness.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for any guests with queries.
- Handing all information over to you for preparation of seating plans and notifying caterers and suppliers.

Where will they stay..?
Inevitably, some of your guests will be travelling some distance and will require overnight accommodation. To help them we can provide the following service:
- Researching and locating suitable hotel rooms.
- Negotiating and setting up group bookings for your guests (using your credit card number as a guarantee)
- Acting as a point of contact should your guest want to make their own bookings.
- Supplying all relevant information to the hotel such as a rooming list with any special requirements.

Reassurance at the event…
Whoever has undertaken the planning for your special day, there will still be the inevitable last minute nerves. Everyone gets them. However, we can take away any additional worries about the day with our On the Day Management Service.
This will leave you safe in the knowledge that an experienced, hands-on planner will be there to make sure that everything runs seamlessly. We offer the following for your peace of mind:
- A consultation at a convenient location to discuss your wedding day.
- A detailed handover of materials and contacts and all the information you need approximately 1-2 weeks before the wedding.
- Ten hours ‘On the Day’ attendance from one of our planners (inclusive of travel expenses).
Bookings for this service are taken within 90 days of the wedding date and are subject to availability.
